Objective

Find a coffee table book that had been poorly designed 

with bad type and redesign it. Use text and images from 

the book and use the principles of design to recreate it.

Concept

For this project I used an old book about volcanoes that

had horrible type, and was overall poorly designed and

decided to redesign it into a coffee table book. Putting

more focus on the images and using the grid to create

beautiful type placement I recreated the book into some-

thing you can pick up and enjoy at any time.
